I started and built this community of writers and hold a weekly social writing workshop. I write in a variety of styles and categories. These include technical documents, news articles, entertainment pieces, and fiction of various types. My fiction is more often than not short pieces in the scifi, horror, fantasy, comedy genre.

Joanna Lesher is irredeemably silly. This has caused nothing but problems for her. A morbid child, she spent her formative years watching Unsolved Mysteries and filling notebooks with spooky stories. These days, she writes horror, scifi, and comedy—often all three at the same time. Joanna likes books, animals, role-playing games, and speculating on the sex lives of fictional characters. She once cremated and drank a dead insect to chase off a girl she didn't like.

Jen Haeger has a degree in Veterinary Medicine as well as a Master's in Forensic Science, so she decided to forget all that and write a novel or three. She used to read quite a bit as a youth, but was not introduced to truly spectacular writing until her husband showed her the works of Jim Butcher, Neil Gaiman, Philip Pullman, and other amazing writers of fiction. Both she and her husband are enormous dorks and enjoy Science Fiction, Fantasy, Board Games, Cons, and RPGs, but also try to get out backpacking every once in a while (much easier to do when they lived in New Zealand).

Brian has been writing for most of his life. The bulk of his work nowadays is set in any one of his favorite universes (which includes his own), with the sporadic return to real life. His creative ventures also branch into acting, making video games, videos, and painting miniature models. He is the current bearer of The Most Interesting Hat In The World

I started writing in my early teens, the earliest of my works being fan-fiction for my childhood favorite movie Balto (link to my works is given). Since then, the genres have expanded to include the vast universes of fantasy, fiction, science-fiction, and poetry. While much in my writing is fiction, I tend to try to put a personal experience into them so if an event had happened in a certain way, I can see the possibilities in which it may have ended thusly, I can help prevent it from happening again.
