Warning: Strong Language
Now comes Her hue and cry,
Change the tresses upon their sighing trestles.
Hark!
Matrimony of Mother Nature and Father
Time marred, malleable, molded so
The creeping chill heralds the new hue.
Hitherto emerald alas now the flames rage
Hew the tendrils and the sparks fall to
Wrap Her in their coat of embers.
Now comes Her hue and cry,
Change the tresses upon their sighing trestles.
Hark!
Matrimony of Mother Nature and Father
Time marred, malleable, molded so
The creeping chill heralds the new hue.
Hitherto emerald alas now the flames rage
Hew the tendrils and the sparks fall to
Wrap Her in their coat of embers.
Filled with the sacred upheavals
Of the brandy branded by their boughs.
Watch the lips, mind the shit.
Autumn her name,
Dubbed dubious and dim.
The new seed took root a fortnight past the equinox
And withers toward ashes four and a score later.
Built on soggy soil, ravaged by writhing bubbly maggots
This rotten apple has gone to mush
The blood on its skin
A blemish that sticks, no
Scrub scrapes deep enough.
Porcelain against porcelain, pearlescent putridity
On bended knee
But all askew.
Whipped the wreck
From a savage milieu.
Locked and loaded
Throw out the key.
